Suppose a state's license plate consists of 3 numbers followed by 3 letters. However, NO two letters or numbers can be the same. How many different license plates can be made?
I don't understand how to solve this question because of the "NO"?
This means all the numbers of letters are different.
Number of different license plates = 10P3 * 26P3 = 10 * 9 * 8 * 26 * 25 * 24 = 11232000
