1. Get on the balcony--------They adapted new ways to work on their team work. stepping out and finding perspective in the midst of a challenging situation.

2. Identify adaptive challenges----------Through use of forums. leaders must analyze and diagnose challenges .

3. Regulate distress----------by ensuring them that no one was embarrassed in front of others. help others to recognize the need of change but not become overwhelmed by the need for change itself.

4. Maintain disciplined attention--------This was maintained by ensuring everyone was involved. leader need to encourage people to focus on the tough work they need to do.

5. give the work back to people-------they gave other players a chance to offer ideas.
