For example, tour wholesalers assemble travel packages usually targeted at the leisure market. These generally include transportation and accommodations but may also include meals, ground transportation, and entertainment. Retail travel agents sell these packages that are put together a tour wholesaler. The tour wholesaler has to provide a commission for the travel agent and give consumers a package that is perceived to be a better value than what they could arrange on their own.
