Commercial banks in any country are different than other financial institutions since the commercial banking has their liabilities in form of Deposits and assets mainly consist of lendings i.e loans given to the customers.

Branches is irrseparable part of the banking system since it effects the profitability of the Bank.

In recent years the branches of the banks in Saudi Arabia is on increasing trend. All the banks are trying to reach more numbeer of prospective customers and increasing the profitabilty. As the loan base is increasing in Saudi Arabia, banks over their are exploring the people for increasing the CASA to fund the loans.
