PROMPT: Why was the twentieth century West so violent? Explain what you think are the three most important factors that led to such bloodshed and killing over the century.

So far i have advancement of technology (increased population/ better weapons), nationalism (wanting to fight for the nation), and the polical birth of social ideologies (fascim, communism, etc. / wanting to imposes their ideology on others). Would these work?

Expert Solution

I think that advancement of technology can be the reason, such as massive bombs, massive guns etc. And apart from them it is the imposing ideologies on others, prooving that you are the best. Now a days these massive attacks are only done by the terrorists who are muslim by religion, it is said that they want to prove that their religion is the greatest and hence they often do attacks. Apart from these there is no bloodshed that takes place or these blood sheds were not that massive or in large no. a few years back. We can see that there is a particular which is used to influence espevially the youth and they are being used to show how powerful they are.

In addition I guess loss of conscience such as a particular thing should not be done and particluar things should be carried out, We see that many eductated terrorists are there, such as there have degree in the computer engineering, they have good brains. But their brains are diverted in some other things.
