Organizational change deals with both at the process in which a company or any organisation changes its operational methods, technologies, organizational structure, strategies as well as what effects these changes have on it. Organizational change occurs due to external or internal factors.
It is all about reviewing and modifying structures specifically management structures and business management. Small commercial enterprises need to adapt and learn to thrive in the environment to survive within the competition against larger competitors. And large companies adapt when smaller and innovative companies arrives in the competition.
Organizational change process includes innovate, advance, modify, adjust, develop, adapt.
Ways to handle organizational change:
1. Identify threats and examine of opportunities by communicating with employees and costumers.
2. Creating a team representing different teams and departments for discussion of ideas regarding the change.
3. Listing the reasons why the organization needs change using the vision of future.
4. Identify the people who resist change and obtain their opinions which help in improving the change.
5. Identify short term projects to demonstrate the change benefits the company.
6. Align all change management activities with the company's strategic goals.
7. Analysing successful projects to verify what should to repeated or improved.
8. Document all the changes made throughout the organization which help as a key for problems and improving the process.
