1. A line chart or line graph is a type of chart which displays information as a series of data points called 'markers' connected by straightline segments. It is a basic type of chart common in many fields.

here in the graph of question you can see that plot is linear (i.e. straight) in the intervals. Only difference is its inclination changes at $3.51 and after that it remain straight.

equation of straight line in graph is

y=mx+c here m gives its inclination and c is the intercept on y-axis

so in the above graph nothing but slope changes after $3.51 and the intercept on y- axis is at $3.17 as you can see the left most point on the graph.

as we can see from the graph thats the value of y is always increasing when we increase the value of x

so it is inccreasing in both intervals.

maximum value is $3.57 and minimum is $3.17

y- intercept is $3.17 and range is from $3.17 to $3.57
