• The securing of the confidential information is the most important advantage of TPM
• This provides authentication for both the hardware and the softwares
• It does not depend on the software based operating system
• Using TPM in the mobile phone you can encrypt the hrad drive of your phone
• Architecture of the TPM is cost effective

Disadvantages of Trusted Platform Module (TPM)

• Major disadvantage is of Bug
• No security from a cold boot attack
• Sometimes it refers to the problem of loading the right software
• Online threats and attacks cannot be prevented

Ans.2 Advantages of using thin clients

• Less expensive - These lack hard drive and use less powerful processors
• Low power required - As no such great specifications so the less power required
• Scalable - Easily adjustable in scaling of the network
• More secure - More secure to the cyber threats and attacks

  Disadvantages of using thin clients

• Less optimal featured as compared to the PC's
• Some programs require more power and this cannot handle
• A single point failure can take down an organisation
• Sometimes the personal storage is required for some accesses but it does not contains hard drive
