Solutions

Expert Solution

1) When there is a great and considerable difference between supply and demand of energy, it leads to energy crisis. Over a billion population on earth is facing energy crisis as of now. It means their countries are not able to meet the demand , to feed the entire population either due to lack of resources or due to fast depletion of natural energy reserves. This situation is called as energy crisis. In plain definition, The energy crisis is the concern that the world’s demands on the limited natural resources that are used to power industrial society are diminishing as the demand rises.

2) We can do a lot of things so that we don't face anymore energy crisis. Some are as following :

a) The best possible solution is to reduce the world’s dependence on non-renewable resources and to improve overall conservation efforts.

b)  Replace traditional bulbs with CFL’s and LED’s. They use less watts of electricity and last longer. It means always use energy efficient methods

c) Both developed and developing countries should adopt a common stand on climate change. They should focus on reducing greenhouse gas emissions through an effective cross border mechanism

d)  we should identify the areas where our home or office is losing energy and what steps we can take to improve energy efficiency

3) I feel that energy crisis is real. We have so many natural reserves but unwatched or uncontrolled use of energy resouces by big corporates make it difficult to survive for a common man. The energy levels are continously decreasing and it takes a lot of time to rebuild. However, with increased consumption, we are also inviting problems like increased ocean temperature, global warming.
