(CuSO4 + (Zn(C2H3O2)2)

(AlCl3 + (Zn(C2H3O2)2)

(CuSO4 + AlCl3)

Solutions

Expert Solution

1-

Molecular equation : AlCl3(aq) + 3KI(aq) ----------> 3KCl(aq) + AlI3(aq)

Ionic equation- All the aqueous soluble slats will dissociate to constituent ions i.e

  Al+3(aq) + 3Cl-(aq) + 3K+(aq) + 3I-(aq) ----------> 3K+(aq) + 3Cl-(aq) + Al+3(aq) + 3I-(aq)

Net ionic equation- It is formed by cancelling all the common ions from both sides. Here all are the same ions on both sides. So final reaction will be-

No Reaction

2-

Molecular equation : Zn(C2H3O2)2(aq) + 2KI(aq) ----------> 2K(C2H3O2)(aq) +  ZnI2(aq)

Ionic equation- All the aqueous soluble slats will dissociate to constituent ions i.e

Zn+2(aq) + 2(C2H3O2)-(aq) + 2K+(aq) + 2I-(aq) ----------> 2K+(aq) + 3(C2H3O2)-(aq) + Zn+2(aq) + 3I-(aq)

Net ionic equation- It is formed by cancelling all the common ions from both sides. Here all are the same ions on both sides. So final reaction will be-

No Reaction

3-

Molecular equation : AlCl3(aq) + 3AgNO3(aq) ----------> Al(NO3)3(aq) +  3AgCl(s)

Ionic equation- All the aqueous soluble slats will dissociate to constituent ions i.e

  Al+3(aq) + 3Cl-(aq) + 3Ag+(aq) + 3NO3-(aq) ---------->  Al+3(aq) + 3NO3-(aq) +  3AgCl(s)

Net ionic equation- It is formed by cancelling all the common ions from both sides.

3Ag+(aq) + 3Cl-(aq) ---------->  3AgCl(s)

4-

Molecular equation : Zn(C2H3O2)2(aq) + 2AgNO3(aq)----------> 2Ag(C2H3O2)(s) +  Zn(NO3)2(aq)

Ionic equation- All the aqueous soluble slats will dissociate to constituent ions i.e

Zn+2(aq) + 2(C2H3O2)-(aq) + 2Ag+(aq) + 2NO3-(aq) ----------> 2Ag(C2H3O2)(s) + Zn+2(aq) + 3NO3-(aq)

Net ionic equation- It is formed by cancelling all the common ions from both sides.

2Ag+(aq) + 2(C2H3O2)-(aq) ---------->  2Ag(C2H3O2)(s)

Similalrly the rest of the reactions will be done.
