Design a double-dwell cam to move a follower from 0 to 2.5 in. in 60°, dwell for 120°, fall 2.5 in. in 30°, and dwell for the remainder. The total cycle must take 4 sec. Size the cam for a 1-in. radius roller follower considering pressure angle and radius of curvature. Use eccentricity only if necessary to balance these functions. Plot both these functions. Draw the cam profile. Repeat this for a flat-faced follower. Which one would you use?

Design a system to move 100 gpm of water from a river with surface water elevation of 201.35 ft msl to a tank with surface water elevation = 246.55 ft msl. The tank is pressurized; the air pressure in the tank is 60 psig. The total length of pipe is 125 ft with 6 standard elbows all made of Sch 40 steel pipe. Design and implement a sequential circuit that counts from 0-3 in a repeating cycle with two inputs: step and reset. If the step input is 1 the count progresses to the next value, if 0 you stay at the current value. If the reset input is 1 the count returns to 0, if 0 it has no effect. If both step and reset are 1, reset takes precedence. Use J-K flip flops in your design and follow the design process...

Question 3: A)Design a BCD counter. -The circuit counts from 0 to 9, then resets back to 0 to restart the counting sequence. -The circuit has one input run/stop. If the input is 1, the eounter will count. If the input is 0, the counter will freeze in its current location until the input is set to 1 again. -The circuit has one output. It becomes 1 when the counter completes a cycle and starts the next one. Otherwise, that...
