Solutions

Expert Solution

The main difference among all these monitors is basically the technology that produces images on screen.

There are basically many features depending on which we buy our monitors like some people like the bigger screens, while some people would prefer best picture quality while some would be looking for less power consumption factor.

Let's look at these monitors one by one and decide which one to buy:

-Plasma, LCD- These 2 technologies were used long ago. CRT use to be huge and draws lots of power while LCD were thinner and lighter. These 2 are not used anymore as now we have better option to choose from.

-LED,OLED,Plasma- Lets first look at LED(Light- emitting diode), OLED(Organic light-emitting diode):

Brigtness- In terms of brightness OLED is better

Black level-In terms of this, OLED wins. it produces deep dark levels while LED display grey as darkest color.

Contrast ratio- OLED wins here.

Viewing angle-OLED have excellent viewing angle while this is one of the failure of LED.

Now among OLED And LED obviously OLED is better but OLED are expensive, So if money isnt a issue go for OLED otherwise LED could do the job.

Plasma vs LED or OLED-

Plasma screens are preferred by many people because of their best picture quality and these are also cheaper.

But disadvantage with them is Plasma uses more power and Image retention is also an issue.

Now we have come to our final conclusion:

Among all ,CRT and LCD are now gone so wont be buying it.

Next we have OLED And LED,OLED will be preferred as it has better brightness and viewing angle etc but are expensive. Plasma are good for dark rooms only but they have like the best picture quality.

So If want best picture quality then go for plasma otherwise OLED's are hit.

I have given all the deciding factors while purchasing a monitor. Advantage nd disadvantages are also given, I hope this helps. You can also give thumb up if it was useful.
