Create an example where meta-analysis would be used in the fitness field and state three considerations to consider in using the meta-analysis approach.

Solutions

Expert Solution

step -1

meta-analysis is statistical procudure which collect and combining the data from multiple studies . For example, researcher has developed a new hypothesis that the reduce of fat and increase muscele can possible through regular excersize and intake proper calories nutrition .This hypothesis validity can not measured by single study because study vary situation to situation and a mechanism is needed to synthesize the data .so meta analysis is used to know the common effect on the basis of data in Different study.if other study data also show nutrition and regular exercise helps to reduce fat and increase masclues then this technique of fitness get approved through meta analysis.

step-2

major considertion

1.to understand wheather the studies similar enough on the basis of statistical synthesis.so that combining result will be meaningfull.

2.to use quanatitive method of research and reduce the quantity of data by Summerizing data from multiple resources and helps to plan in research and formulate guideline.

3.Another considertion is to helps in systematic review to extracting and combining data through statistical technique for summery result.

Meta-data can be roughly thought of as the “envelope” of a message. For example, the meta-data of a phone call would include information on the caller, callee, time, date, length, but not the actual discussion that took place. One argument that was made by the government was that it was only collecting meta-data, not the...
