Expert Solution

For an organization to be successful there has to be good coordination between the management and the employees. Employees must be motivated. The motivation of the employees should come from the management side they should take the following steps.

1. They should recognize the talent of their employees.

2. Management should provide incentives or rewards for achieving the goal.

3. Have good communication with the employees.

4. Include the staff members while making policies or decisions to know the difficulties at the ground level.

5. They should show concern for the well being of the employees.

The reward and incentives work as a catalyst. When the employee’s talent is recognized they feel connected to the organization. They show their ability and innovation in the workplace. They feel recognized if included while taking a decision. When the management takes interest in the well being of the employees they feel emotionally attached to the organization. To motivate the employees the management should act unbiased. The best example of good management can be seen in Mr. Darwin Smith the CEO of Kimberly Clark who was the CEO of the organization for 20 years and lifted the organization to a higher position. His type of leadership is a democratic type of leadership. He used to work with the employees and had become one of them. He did not distance himself from the worker or other employees at the lower rank.

For an organization to motivate the employees they should show the exit door to those employees who show negativity in the workplace and do not take interest in the organizational production. The organization can act smoothly if there is a friendly atmosphere and the job is taken seriously.

Ghana is one of the developing countries in Africa. It is rich in natural resources, it is one of the highest exporters of Cocoa, There are gold and diamond mines.

Under the presidentship of Nana Akufo-Addo Ghana is has shown progress in economy, education, and the healthcare system.

Ghana has achieved good progress in the metallurgical industry, it has attracted foreign investment from the US, UK, EU, and even China is taking interest in investing in Ghana. While Ghana in getting the foreign investment it is facing a shortage in the input of metallic ores, and competition from the importers as well. As the GDP increase, the local demand also increases.

To meet the global and local demand the industry must maintain a good relationship with the management and employees to avoid strikes and other demands. When the employees are motivated they put in their best effort and become the source of good and quality production. With a good and positive atmosphere, they work as a team.

The research has also proved that a motivated, innovative, and responsive workplace is important for the success of any organization. When the workers and employees feel that they are respected and given recognition few employees would think of changing the job. The organization would be able to keep their experienced hand.

When management and the employees work together it boosts the morale of the employees. They try to put in their best effort. It is important to ask for feedback. It helps in promoting healthy Work-life balance.

The employees should be well aware of the policies of the organization, and the management should take their employees into confidence while making certain policies. They can look at the different organizations how they become successful and maintain their position, for example Coca-Cola’s Brand Ambassador Program where every employee is their brand ambassador. They do mouth to mouth publicity and act as the brand ambassador.
