What do you think about banks in general and the services that banks provide? How would you rank bankers compared with lawyers, professors, and doctors in terms of prestige? You might not have talked a lot with bankers because of all the electronic banking nowadays but give me your opinion about bankers and what they do?

Ans - Banking industry is one of the most important factors in stabilizing the economy of any country. A banker is an employee who works in the bank or they can be also referred to as Financial institutions who severs and solves the financial related problems to their clients. These clients can be individuals or company with different financial needs. A banker tries to increase the profit of the bank while taking calculative risks. The main job of the bank is to give money to the needy ones while taking commission and takes from those who have extra money while giving them charges. These charges or commission is known as interest rate, this is how banks run and make profits.

Bankers provide various financial services to its clients:-

1 Loans - Banks provide loans to their clients such as personal loans, home loans, car loans, business loans, etc. This loan is an important service that banks provide to their clients.

2 Digital banking services - with a lot of advancement in technology now clients don't have to visit banks for their services most of these services are available online. These services include text messages, online payment, e-statements, etc.

3 Individual banking - These services are provided by the bank to help individuals in managing their financial needs such as checking accounts, savings accounts, providing debit and credit cards, insurance, wealth management, etc.

4 Business banking - These services are provided by the banks to corporate houses, companies, government institutions, etc. Business banking services include business loans, debit, and credit card services, Merchant services, treasury services, etc.

Bankers play a very vital role in the economy. Every profession whether it is a doctor, lawyer, engineer, professor, etc are contributing to society in some form or the other and it's not fair to compare them. If anyone is good in his or field then they get equal respect and dignity in the society with other professionals, it does not matter from which field he or she belongs. so if a banker is doing well in his or her field they will be respected equally in the society with other professionals.
