How are a stub zone records updated if the stub zone is Active Directory integrated?
A Stub zone is a copying of data about particular zone and it's resource records which is used in identifying the Domain Name System (DNS) servers for that zone.It allows the DNS to contact it's respective DNS server directly to resolve the names.
If a stub zone is Active Directory Integrated means it stores the zone data of multiple domains together in Active Directory . It integrates the Domain Name System and Active Directory to enable security features. These stub zones records of zones are updated by the domain controllers are called as "master servers". If a stub zone is Active Directory Integrated ,it uses multi-master replication(copying) that copies the data of different DNS and a separate zones are assigned for each.
Therefore, multiple master servers are update the stub zone records of their respective DNS data into the Active Directory. These all data is United together to stored in a stub zone which is Active Directory Integrated.
