First we should understand what is the basic difference between classical and quantum mechanics so that we can build concept ,why the need of quantum mechanics .

In classical mechanics domain we can determine the position and momentum of a particle simultaneously because we are observing the particle at large scale while in quantum mechanics we can not determine the position and momentum of a particle simultaneously that is nothing is deterministic in quantum mechanics that is why we calculate probability of finding particle.

From these points we find that probability of error in our experiment that is why quantum mechanism is important

When we take any observation through any experiment we check weather the two observations commute that is the order of two experimental observation does not change the result or they does not commute.
