Drug abuse has affected all of us, and it must be prevented to reduce unnecessary deaths., performance improvement strategies and improvement techniques

Following are some strategies to be used to reduce drugs in U.S:

1- Mass media campaigns. These are some efforts which aimed at changing norms in the matter drug use by demonstrating negative situation for use.

2- Community coalitions and organizing- These efforts need collaboration between many community entities to make strategies of community-wide for reducing substance use.

3- Classroom instruction. It is the common strategy which is used in schools. The content of these interventions varies, it is grouped into three classes: Information-only interventions teach students information regarding drugs and the consequences of the use of drug

4- Mentoring, work study strategies and tutoring:. These are efforts which aim to enhance the stakes in conformity and lowers predispositions of individual to use drugs.

5- Recreational, enrichment, community service and leisure activities.: These activities intended to give fun alternatives and constructive to drug use
