46. A police officer in hot pursuit drives her car through a circular turn of radius 300 m with a constant speed of 80.0 km/h. Her mass is 55.0 kg.What are (a) the magnitude and (b) the angle (relative to vertical) of the net force of the officer on the car seat? (Hint: Consider both horizontal and vertical forces.)

I don't understand why the net force in the problem is centripetal force and gravitation. I think there should be normal force but in Chegg's solution, there are only centripetal force and gravitation. Could you explahn why?

A car is safely negotiating an unbanked circular turn at a speed of 19 m/s. The road is dry, and the maximum static frictional force acts on the tires. Suddenly a long wet patch in the road decreases the maximum static frictional force to one-fourth of its dry-road value.
