Find the slope of given line with given co-ordinates (x1,y1)= (9,1) and (x2,y2)=(-3,-7).
Given co-ordinates of the line (x1,y1)=(9,1).
(x2,y2)=(-3,-7).
Since we know that to find slope of line we have formula that is
m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)
Putting the values of x1 , x2 , y1 and y2 we get
m=(-7-1)/(-3-9)
m=-8/-12
m=2/3.
Hence slope of the line is 2/3.
The slope of the given line with given co-ordinates is 2/3.
