E-procurement in a broader sense is an electronic data transfer that supports operational, strategic and tactical procurement. E-procurement is also known as “supplier exchange” that is used to describe the process of obtaining goods and services through internet. It has primarily been in the form of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI). In today’s world, e-procurement is often supported by internet technologies and or software platforms.

The documents or the forms are listed as follows:

• E-sourcing which supports the specification phase. In this documentation of suppliers is identified which can be used in the selection of respective goods/services.
• E-tendering which supports the selection phase. In this phase the facilitation of REOI & ITB and or RFP activities were listed. This is used for the assessment and analysis.
• E-reverse, this type of auctioning supports the contract phase. This documentation will enable in closing a deal with supplier.
• E-ordering & web-based ERP is the pre-final stage of documentation process that helps in defining and approving the below using a software system based on the Internet
