Q4 (b)
(ii) As an Electrical Engineer, suggest with clear explanation a specific electricity market model as a way forward to the lingering crisis in the electricity industry of an underdeveloped country

Solutions

Expert Solution

If we talking about underdeveloped countries, power crisis is more because of these countries power generation is based on coal based thermal power plant and also generation is less as compared to demand become of economic reasons. Underdeveloped countries have to focus on different fileds like infrastructure, transportation, and most important to improve the standard of living for all people of the country.other reason for power crisis is that generation is nearly constant due to economic reasons or generation rate is increases very less and new plans and different types of load increasing rate is high so there is always a power crisis. But if we talking about developed countries then development is nearly constant so power demand is also constant or or there country has large no of generation unit based of thermal, Nuclear, hydro-electric, gas based, solar, wind, tidel so generation is more diverse so there is a less chance of power crisis

Please be clear in explanation! 1. Define density, mass, weight, and specific gravity. A room is 4m wide, 5m long, and 3m high. Air pressure in the room is 110 KPa absolute and the temperature is 27C. Assuming ideal gas behaviour, determine the mass, density, and specific gravity of the air using water as reference density. (The density of water is 1000kgm-3, the molar mass of air is 29g/mol, and R=8.314 J/(kg mol)). Let the minimum fresh air requirement for...

1. Elementary macroeconomic models (such as our Model II, Models and Multipliers) suggest that the multiplier effect associated with an increase in government spending can be estimated according to the formula m = 1 / 1-MPC. Therefore, if the country’s MPC is 0.8, then a $500 billion in government spending should lead to an increase in aggregate income of some $2.5 trillion. And if the MPC is more like 0.9, then the multiplier effect suggests the increase in income would...
