As health care costs continue to rise, does it make sense for corporations to encourage their employees to participate in fitness classes on a regular basis? Do you think that it would save the corporations money in the long run to offer a variety of fitness classes for free or discounted through the workplace? Could a prevention verse treatment model of employee benefits be better of and cheaper for employee and employer in the long run?

One of the most important concerns of many people today in almost all the countries is the rising healthcare costs. This is coupled with the amount of stress people face at the workplace and lack of time to spend quality family or friends time. Thus, people are stressed out at work due to the issues at home and stressed out at work due to the constant thinking of the job place. This would mean that the performance and productivity of people would naturally go down and companies would eventually would pay for more for less and slow work. So, in my opinion, if companies spend those money for providing proper healthcare and fitness programs, it would not only improve the productivity of people but would also increase their loyalty and help them spend quality time with the family. It would definitely improve the benefits for the company on the long run.
