Describe a scenario in which an administrator would need to clear a queue from within Print Management, instead of asking the person who sent the job to cancel it from their workstation.
An administrator would need to clear a queue from within print Management, instead of asking the person who sent the job to cancel it from their workstation.First of all, an administrator want to finish the work as soon as possible, neither want to cancel the process which is running nor cancel it from their workstation. An administrator want only that clear a long queue from within Print Management as soon as possible.
Have ever run into the situation where try to print something and nothing happens? It wait for it to print, but the job doesn’t go through? There are a ton of reasons why a print job may not actually print, but one of the common causes is that the printer queue has a stuck print job. If the print job does not stuck because of long printer queue that the work will be finish immediately.
This happens too often, and it had think administrator would have figured out how to handle it by now. When it print a document, it’s not sent directly to your printer. Instead, it gets placed in a queue. Once in the queue, administrator comes along and notices something needs to be printed, and sends it to the printer. The problem is that sometimes the queue gets “stuck”, for lack of a better word.
It may be faced with all this situation:
The solution is to clear the print queue manually, removing all the documents waiting to be printed. This is done on the computer to which the printer is connected.
So, just because of all the problem an administrator would need to clear a queue from within print Management, istead of asking the person who sent the job to cancel it from their workstation.
