Yes, I can think of a time when I conformed with the actions of a group of friends, eventhough I disagreeed with their actions. Yes I can remember an Incidence in my college during my post graduate studies. Once Our teacher told us to form groups and assigned tasks to each group. All groups required to perform their tasks. I was in one such group which was a 7 membered group.WWe were discussing certain issues, but unable to arrive in a consensus. It was particularly me, who was not agrreing with other members , but at last conformed to the groups action, because I felt that time that the Group is well informed and also there was a feeling inside me that i I objected vehemently to the Group thinking or actions, I might be excluded from the group.
Based on Asch's Experiment on Groupthink, I can say that Initially I was like a non-conformist as I thought I was right and stood against the group. But when I faced severe criticism and opposition from other group members I decided to conform wiith the group.
