Internet, a word which is being used in every corner of the world   today.

Internet is a global network which connects other computers and all most all the electronic devices around the world. Through internet we could access every information we want. Not only accessing information, if today we are able to connect our dear ones through computers or electronic devices then it is because of internet. These days we listen a common word "online", this word is used when an electronic device is connected to internet. Internet means inter-net and that means network of networks. Again, internet is a global network of physical cables which includes copper wires, Tv cables, fibre Optic cables. The information we access from the internet or any task we do on internet is done by these cables by sending a request to the server. There are hundreds of things we could use internet for. Some of them are online shopping, online banking, social media, entertainment etc.

Web

world wide web commonly known as web is a subset of internet and a collection of websites which are accessed by us through internet. Websites are made up of images, text, audios, videos and can be accessed by something known as browsers. Browsers act as connection between web and the user who is accessing the website. Many of us misinterpret that web browsers are internet but no, they are just the browsers which fetch websites from internet. Through web anyone could access any website from the internet from any part of the world by having an internet connectivity. For any website, the building blocks are web pages. Web pages are formatted in HTML(hyper text markup language). For accessing these websites all we need is a browser installed on our computer and an internet connection. For every website there will be one URL ( Uniform Resource Locator ) through which we can reach the website .

HTML(Hyper text markup language)

As we have already discussed, web pages are formatted in Html. It is a standard markup language for creating the webpages. HTML tells the browser the structure of web page. HTML contains all the elements of the webpage and the information to be displayed on the webpage. It mainly emphasizes on displaying the content properly with proper sequence. HTML consists of different elements(tags) each with one job to do. For example, <h1>hello </h1> this tag displays the text "hello" as heading of the page. Likewise, html has many tags each associated with one property.

JavaScript

JavaScript is a programming language that make the webpage responsive to user other than just displaying the static information on webpage. Webpages become useful and interesting only when they start interacting with users. JavaScript dynamically updates the content on the webpage, animate the elements like images and creates a good interaction between the user and the webpage. Let us take an example to know the working of JavaScript, when a user creates a password for his account and want to keep his account safe, in this case JavaScript plays a key role in validating the password. JavaScript makes the user enter a strong password by entering the minimum characters required for a strong password. If the user enters the password that has less than the required characters for a strong password then JavaScript tells the user to enter the password with minimum characters required. JavaScript not only makes the website interesting but also safe in cases like these.

Web Page

A web page is a part of website which is commonly written in HTML. Web pages are viewed in web browsers by entering the web page's URL (Uniform Resource Locator) in browser' s address bar. Web pages often contain much information including images, text, graphics, hyperlinks. Web pages are the collection of information displayed in the browsers.

Ecommerce

Ecommerce also known as internet commerce or electronic commerce facilitates the buying and selling of goods online using internet and making the money transactions also online. Some of the examples of ecommerce are amazon, Flipkart, Snapdeal etc. In the mentioned ecommerce we can buy goods, sell goods, make online transactions for the purchased goods.
