Expert Solution

(a) From one of the newspaper I had come across one of the news that which was raised by the managerial decision in one of the organization. The decision was regarding setting the targets to the employees to reach the success for the organization. If employees do not reach the goals company will lay off employees from their jobs. In that news they mentioned that in last two decades they drastically experienced the downfall of the profits because of their sales were low. By this, management of the organization decided to set the targets for the employees that which can help the organization in the path of profits. By setting the targets to every employees and carried out the survey after six months. They saw the difference between before the goal setting and after goal setting. That organization has cleared some of the debts that which leads to downfall. From this decision I had learned that targets to the employees will increase the organizational growth because employees will work hard to secure their jobs.

(b) By using MBO, I and employees of the airlines will work together to monitor the problems that which was raised in the recent times like late flights, mishandled baggage and some other problems. Sometimes we come across late flights and airline employee will not inform the customers before. To avoid this problem our team firstly, make sure about landing and takeoff the flight timings and inform the customers by using messages, emails or calls. A separate team will work to avoid the mishandled baggage because if once customer has a negative impression on this issue they never ready travel in our airlines. This separate team will only look after the handling of the baggage. Another biggest problem was providing the food according to the customer orders. Sometimes customer will receive the food that which they doesn’t order. Our team will look after this issue to provide the correct and good food to the customers. By using MBO I will solve these problems in the above mentioned format with my team.
