One type of competition covered in the chapter fits into the category of interference competition, even though it seems like indirect resource competition. Which type is it, and why is it not categorized as resource competition?

• In exploitation competition, organisms use up resources directly .once used the resource is no longer available for other species to use.
• In interference competition, one organism prevents the other from using the resource.
• Interference competition occurs in between the individual s when they get angry, when the the individuals interfere the foraging, survival, reproduction of others, or by directly preventing their physical in the portion of habitat, hence use resource s indirectly.
• Example:ant Nvomessor cockerelli and red harvester ants, where the former interfere with the ability to latter to forage by plugging entrances to the colony with small rocks
