how would the car react to a temporary signage (construction) traffic cops,or ambulance with sirens trying to pass them?

Solutions

Expert Solution

Solution –

The reaction of cars depends on various parameters,

Temporary (construction) Signage –

These signs are very important and must always be carefully looked upon. If there is work going on the road, or in case of some major issue these signs are put up. These signs help one to regulate vehicles better, e.g., some construction work or repair work is going on the road or a bridge then this sign will alert you to be cautious in your driving as it can lead to great danger if you aren’t aware of it.

Traffic cops –

Generally, traffic cops will not bother you during your journey but if you have violated or some other issue then they might approach you and in such a case you should try to stop the vehicle is they are following you and talk to them about the issue.

Showing your documents might be required to the traffic cops.

Sometimes they are present just to divert the traffic or to regulate the flow of traffic in a particular way. E.g., if there is any accident or a road is damaged then a traffic cop might ask you to divert your vehicles in some another direction.

Ambulances (sirens)

First thing is do not panic. Be calm and try to look for the ambulance while gradually making way for the ambulance to cross. Do not put yourself in danger to make the way, neither break any rules in doing so.

Avoid stopping vehicles on kerb or hard shoulder. Take proper care of pedestrians as do not block their way neither cause any hindrance to them.
