You are trying to see what is happening in a room through a keyhole in a door. Where should you place your eye to see the most: closer or farther away from the hole?
As close as possible to the keyhole.
As far away as possible from the keyhole.
Result doesn't depend on your eye's position.
While looking through a key hole to see what happening inside the room, one should place his eyes closer to the hole to see the whole which is happening inside the room.
When one looking farther from a key hole, he couldn't see most of the thing happening in the room, because his viewing angle is restricted or the light falls on the eye of the person is from the room is less.
Thus to see what is happening in the room, one should place his eyes closer to the key hole.
