Expert Solution

A data center is a center or dedicated place where all the networking related components are located. These data center also work as a storage place for all the datas for an organisation. Since data center contains most of the networking related components and the datas it plays an important role for the organisation on a daily basis. A data center can act as a cloud service for a company where all the data for a company and other people related to it are stored for example Google data center.

A data center consists of networking related components so it should be at first protected from any network attacks. In order to provide security to the data center we use something known as network security infrastructure. This network security infrastructure is used to provide packet filtering so that the packets being sent and received should be filtered or provide a firewall to ignore any unnecessary packets. Providing immediate fix to any system failure as it opens a breach for vulnerabilities. Restrict any type of communication between youe data center and a vulnerable site.
