1) For each of the cell diagrams below find the half-cell oxidation reaction, the half-cell reduction reaction, the net cell reaction, and the standard cell potential (E°cell). You may use the half-cell reduction potential table in the ppt presentation to find E°cell.

b) Pb(s) | PbSO4(s) | SO42-(aq) || Pb2+(aq) | Pb(s)

2) For the galvanic cell in problem 1a, find Ecell when [Cd2+] = 0.040 M, [I-] = 3.6 x 10-4 M.
