Knowledge on Science and technology plays a key role in the lives of every student in Ghana but in terms of teaching it in our schools there is more work to be done.Give a personal assessment of your own experience as a student.

In tacking this question the following points must be considered completely;

b. How can the teaching of Science and technology be improved in both senior high schools and basic schools in Ghana.(Give two points)

The use of Science and technology especially in teaching and leraning process has resulted in academic improvemets globally. the use of computers and internet in all primary and secondary schools has become compulsory. so now the concern is for those who have little or no knowledge with computers or the usage of internet. In Ghana the technology for education was used in urban schools and not in rural areas

Now adays the quality of education is measured by the use of latest science and technology This electronic devices or technological equipment are used to collecting, processing, storing, retrieving and communicating information. This information and communication technology can be successfully used to enhance effective teaching and learning process.

Keeping all this in mind for future generation the knowledge on science and technology to be taught for the children at school level plays a vital role. Every move we take depends on the science and technology, mobiles, laptops, all electronic gadgets we are using, Best example is the present situation what we are facing in this pandemic situation, Now we are using only technology for teaching and learning, through online classes. so science and technology should be taught for children.

Positives for studying science and technology is

1. Life becomes easy and comfortable by using science and technology.

2. Difficult things and work have become very easy amd comfortable to man due to science and technology.

3. Impossible things will become possible.

Negatives for studying science and technology;

1. Man had misused the technology and used for destructive purposes.

2. Science and technology will make illegal things to take place.

3. Due to development of science and technology, natural beauty is decreasing, many plants and animals are affected.

Science and technology can be improved at senior high schools and basic schools at Ghana by

1. By indroducing the course in the curriculam, for all the years right from the basic schooling to senior high schools.

2. By providing ICT tools at the school level and teaching should be modern by using computers, projectors.
