Answer- ISO 14000 is a group of standards about environmental management that aim at helping organizations to decrease the environmental damage by their operations, act in accordance with rules, regulations and other environment related restrictions and improve them.
History of ISO 14000
The BSI group launched first environmental management system stand, BS7750 in 1992 as an initiative to protect the environment. Before this, BS7750 released a template for the evolution of ISO 14000 series in 1996 which is recognized by ISO commities around the whole world. By 2017, around 300,000 certification can be be discovered all around the world.
