Solutions

Expert Solution

Since each and every thing will have it's own pros and cons, our duty is to avoid as many possible defects and damages. First of all, if we consider an online voting system, people should have minimum basic knowledge how to operate the system and all. In India 18+ people are eligible for voting. If we consider old people, they might not have enough knowledge regarding online. One must consider this issue.

Another thing is people who are well educated regarding online things. Some use for good purpose. But some people might use in a wrong way. So even if we a fingerprint concept in our online voting system, people create duplicate fingerprints and do duplicate voting. So, scanning of eyes might be one alternative solution for this.

In this fastly developing world, everything can be hacked and manipulated. In the crave for money, even educated people go wrong.

However there are many cons than pros in online voting system. So in my point of view it's not a good idea.

Hope this helps you. :)
