How fair is free use in regards to mashups and remixing? (In other words, is it fair [or reasonable] to regard mashups and remixing as a right of fair use?) Be sure to explain fair use and its justification (i.e. why there should be a right to fair use in regards to IP). Also, be sure to explain the concepts of public domain, cultural and creative commons and their importance, as they are used in the debate on IP.

Step 1

Mashups is creative work where blended two or more song that has already recorded and mixing sound makes more pleasurable listin music.in USA to avoid the copyright law, fair use law has passed.so it just copy the song but with own creative out, this song makes more adorable.so in certain extent mashup is fair to remixing..on the other hand Remixing is just produce diffrent version by alternate of sound.so in case Remixing it is not much fair to free use...there is huge chance of copyright law violence .

Step 2.public domain is one person crcreative work which any one can use and it is not protected by intellectual property law.in public domian, people are freely use the creative material of others without obtaining any persmission but never make it own .so in case of remix and mashup public domian is work where people take concept and song from others and with blended of various song and change the sound use it fairly.

In terms of cultural which is related to art and intellctuality , remix and mashups are not so geniune .but it also art and need intellctuality to make good sound and appropriate mashup.

Creative common:it is lisence which provide flexiblity range of protection.so in this regard creative also provide flexiblity to persons who engaged in making remix and mashups.
