Dairy is a good supply of calcium and vitamin d, however, some
products might not be a wise selection once it comes to managing
high-pressure level. The sodium content in milk is
naturally-occurring and is present in small amounts. One cup of
milk (250 ml) contains approximately 120 mg of sodium.
Some dairy foods like cottage cheese, buttermilk, and processed
cheeses can be high in salt. Cheeses, particularly processed
cheese-like American cheese, will contain up to 400 mg of sodium
per ounce.
