How can a business be both a wholesaler and a retailer? Please offer an example in 350 words or less.
Wholesaler and Retailer
There are two types of business found in the market which currently rules the market. One are the wholesaler who prefer to sell maximum numbers of product in a single order as in their situation selling a piece by piece product or single product to a consumer will not be beneficial for them but on the other hand retailers purchase the products in a huge volume from the wholesaler or manufacturer and sell per product to the ultimate consumer and this how the supply of the product works in the market but there are still some business which prefer both the parties. It seems like a difficult task to manage two types of business under one roof but management really helps to control this.
Now let us take an example and understand how a business can be both wholesaler and retailer.
There is a small scale business which manufactures furniture of all kinds like table, chairs and other home and office furnitures. This business can really be controlled from two different sides. On one side it can manufacture and sell furnitures to people who wants furniture for their home and this can be done from the retailer`s end as they are selling single product to the customer but on the other hand they can also manufacturer and sell products to the other business to furnish their office premises like office table, Conference table and many other products and they can sell an entire lot of tables and chairs in a single order this will come under wholesaler`s part.
