When we are making a claim, we must support that position with sufficient evidence. We can find that evidence in journals, articles, experiments, experiences, and more. What is the reason for having sufficient evidence? You want to sway the reader to see the topic from your point of view. when i would be making a claim in order to support a particular position, it is mandatory i should be having sufficient evidence for it. when researchers carry out a research, they make sure that whatever results are put forward by them, should be valid and reliable. unless reliable results are put forward in front of people, it would mean that a researcher would be ethically wrong. this would mean that when a person is taking a decision based on a printed result, it will not be in lieu with informed consent. this means, that whenever a person is taking a decision, they should be aware of each and every aspect of a research, it s pros, cons everyting. if a researcher is manipulating research or publishing results that are not actually valid, this would mean that false results are put forward to make peope do something that the researcher wants and that will not be solely on the will of the consumer. this means that the respect for autonomy would be violated. hence, in order to be ethically correct, every research has to be backed with supporting evidences and should be valid.
