differentiate between batch processing and real-time processing. What are the advantages and disadvantages of each form of data processing? Which form is more likely to be used in a doctor's office in preparing the monthly patient bills?

Advantages: -The act of processing is repetitive - Data is processed immediatetly 4. Disadvantages: - This type of processing is complex as well as expensive - This process is bit difficult to audit. |
In case of doctor's office bill preparation on monthly patient bills, Batch processing is best data processing just because there are large number of patient who visit doctors for treatment and doctor has to keep record of each and every patient and the charges for different patients are different so he should have record of it and charge proper bill to his patient.
