Expert Solution

Pellegrino believed that if the patients have autonomy being a person, so do the doctors, nurses and others. If something is unethical to a physicians eyes, he has the right to not allow that to occur. As per American Medical Society, they told that if a doctor don't want to abort a child due to ethical issues or moral beliefs, then he should refer the patient to another doctor in time. Pellegrino opposed to this. He said it will be a contradiction among the same branch regarding beliefs. Some of the autonomy is good but not all.

Schukleng and Smalling were against the fact that physicians have the right to reject a case if it is not within their practice. They came to this profession voluntarily and can take independent decision. Schukleng and Smalling proposed many objections and contradicted to this concept.

Final part answer:-In that case, the reason has to be ruled out and should be given value . It is to be decided between what is right and wrong and a proper justice has to be carried out. If the assisted death is beneficial then it should be carried out.
