In my views, the best country for expansion for Shaw communication company is India. India is a developing country and has plethora of opportunities to invest in. The youth of India is growing and they need good mobile as well as Internet services. Shaw communications can come up with customized packages to target the Indian youth. Another big target segment is that of the Indian housewives as well as Indian senior citizens. This target segment has heavy reliance on television services for their past time. Shaw communications needs to conduct an in-depth study of the Indian market and then develop a market entry strategy. The company can also enter into a joint venture with an established Indian company. This will facilitate the company’s market entry.

The company can come up with specific penetration pricing strategy to enter the Indian market. This step will help the company, attract attention of the budget conscious Indian crowd. Once the company has been able to develop its dedicated base, then the prices can be revised based on market trend. This way, Shaw Communication will be able to establish its foothold in India.
