Step 1: Glycosidic linkage -- In which sucrose(C12H22O11) combines with water(H2O) in presence of invertase enzyme to give 2 moles of glucose(C6H12O6)

Step 2: Glycolysis--In which glucose molecule is broken down into 2 pyruvate molecules.

Step-3:Pyruvate decarboxylase --In which  pyruvate is converted into CH3CHO and CO2

Step 4: alcohol dehydrogenase--In which CH3CHO is converted into C2H5OH(ethanol)
