Potential Energy :

Potential energy is the energy possesed by an object because of its position relative to other objects , stressed within itself , its electric charge or other factors .

Potential energy is associated with forces that act on a body in a way that total work done by these forces on body depends only on initial and final positions of body in space.

Electric Energy :

Electric energy can be defined as the energy stored in charged particles within an electric field. Electric energy is caused by the moving electric charges.since charges are moving this is a form of kinetic energy. Faster the electric charges are moving , the more electrical energy they carry.

For example : Batteries in a cell phone supplu chemical energy to electric charges. The electric charges use the energy to put into motion. This electric energy now travels through the phone supplying phone with the electricity.
