How do I get a 3M NaOH solution by using a 10% NaOH solution?
molarity = W*1000/G.M.Wt* volume in ml
3 = W*1000/40*1000
W = 120g
weight of NaOH = 120g
10% NaOH solution = 120*10/100 = 12g
12g of NaOH disolved in 1000ml of solution to get 3M NaOH
10% NaOH solution means 10g of NaOH present in 100ml of solution
