Chapter 15 contains information about the rights of the employees of a company as well as the responsibilities of the employer. A few of the concerns that employees have include the right to privacy and labor unions. Do you believe that drug testing of employees is necessary? Why and why not? Also, include at least 1 pro and 1 con of drug testing and name the occasions drug testing may be used. In addition,  explain how much privacy can employees expect at work. Also, please name different types of labor unions you may have heard of and explain the relationship between labor relations and labor unions. Yes, Drug testing of employees is very important and should be made necessary. It is not any kind of privacy violation. Workplace should be keep safe of any kind of drug use to avoid many problems like drug abuse, sexual harassment, less attention on work, etc. Drug test can be done for screening of employees to avoid losses to the business. It has been reported in US that every year millions of money goes into losses because of drug abuse. Many companies also perform random drug testing to ensure workplace safety. It will maintain heathy environment at workplace as well as result in attentive and effective work force. While, so people criticize it by saying that it violates the privacy of employees. People have right to live their own way. This testing is disturbing the internal habits of a person.

Drug testing can be used while hiring new candidates in the company as well on random days so that employees can be caught as the will not be prepared for the test.

Labour Unions represents the interest of workers and come up with the issues of the workers in front of public. Two main types are Crafts Union and Industrial Unions. Crafts Union represents workers of a specific occupation while Industrial Unions he workers of a specific Industry regardless of their occupation. They have different effects for different Industries like Crafts Unions are generally seen in specific cases while most common issues are raised by industry Unions of that industry.
