Briefly discuss your reaction to the numerous financial terms and the complexity of reporting required in health care. What would your level of comfort be in a discussion with a department manager regarding the key measurements used by organizations to track financial performance in a health care organization or department?
Health care is the maintenance or improvement of health by
preventing, diagnosing, treating, recovering or recovering from
disease, injury, and other physical and mental disabilities in a
person. Health care is provided by health professionals in allied
health areas. Doctors and doctors are one of these health
professionals. Dentistry, medicine, obstetrics, gynecology,
optometrics, psychotherapy, physical therapy, sports training, and
other health professions are all part of health care. It includes
work performed in the provision of primary care, secondary and
tertiary care, as well as public health.
Access to health care may be different in different countries,
communities, and individuals affected by economic and social
conditions as well as health policies. Health service delivery
means "timely use of personal health services to achieve optimum
health outcomes." Factors to consider in terms of access to
healthcare services include financial constraints (such as
insurance), geographical barriers (such as additional
transportation costs, the possibility of paid leave to use such
services), and personal restrictions (deficiencies). Ability to
communicate with healthcare providers, poor health literacy, low
income). Restrictions on health services negatively impact the use
of medical services, treatment efficacy, and overall outcomes
(welfare, mortality).
The healthcare system is an organization designed to meet the
health needs of the target group. According to the World Health
Organization, a well-functioning health system requires a
well-trained and well-paid workforce funding mechanism, credible
information based on decisions and policies and quality health care
facilities. Good at delivering quality medicines and technology.
