Can collaboration and partnership address the problem of improving the quality of services or is it simply a cost cutting strategy?
Yes, indeed collaboration and partnership can address the problem of improving the quality of services and is not an cost cutting strategy because in almost all the multi-national organization, their a cultural change as we employees from all around the world along with time differences, therefore it becomes imperative for the management to leverage the coordination and collaboration strategy. However, through this approach the organization is able to provide value added services to their end customer as well as helps in customization of the product as the requirement of the customers at large.
Secondly, the employees can see the bigger picture which in turn will lead to greater accomplishment because of the synergy developed by the stakeholders involved in the particular project. Sharing aligned goals for the organization will help in increasing the profitability of the organization because of the shared resources used by the organization which will eventually develop an ecosystem of optimizing the resources available.
Plus with coordination and partnership comes the benefit of re-engineering the existing business processes of the organization by re-aligning the supply chain, deploying new resources, inculcating new products / services etc. This will helps the organization to be more effective robust in nature as only then the organization will be handle the incoming future technologies.
