Name 5 major organ systems and describe the general function of each

Expert Solution

Answer - Our body is made up of the basic functional unit of life which is known as cells , every cell respire in our body and so we.

when these cells combine with each other in thousands and lakhs or so on and then form a tissue which is simply defined as group of cells called tissue and when these tissue combines together then forms a organ in body which plays a specific major role in body and then these organs combines to form a organ system in body.

There are various organ systems in body out which 5 major are :

  1. Circulatory system
  2. Digestive system
  3. Nervous system
  4. Renal or Urinary system
  5. Respiratory system

These are the five major organ system in the body and they plays a very major roles in body they are combine to take group of organs , but apart of these 5 all others are also equally important.

1) Circulatory system - This is the system which is made by three different system knowns as cardiovuscular system , pulmonary system and vuscular system.

these three system have majorly heart in CVS , lungs in PULMONARY , arteries and veins in VUSCULAR system these all combines and functions as a circulation of whole blood and removal and processing of blood in whole body. circulation is all about processing of blood oxygen upto each cell.

2) Digestive system - this is the system responsible for food digestion and assimilation in the body , organs from mouth to rectum are called alimentary canal comes in this , mouth , oesophagus , stomach , intestine both , etc these are digestive organs also liver pancreas and gall bladder included in this.

this system is responsible for the digestion of the food and water and take out the important nutrient and assimilate it in the body for energy and removes the waste.

3) Nervous system - nervous system is the headquarter and action center of the body which controls all the response functions of organs in a body , organs related to this system is brain spinal cord and sensory part which have more division . nervous is responsible for all emotional and physical balance and have control centers in them.

4) Respiratory system - respiratory system is the system which is concerned with the breathing and gaseous exchange of the body our cells get oxygen from blood though the air we breathe through this system organs are trachea lungs bronchioles and alveoli they all together make available oxygen to the body and removes carbon dioxide from the body.

5) Renal and Urinary system - This is also one of the major system that helps in maintainence of body nutrient balance , purifies the body as well through the urination . organs are kidney urinary bladder urethra etc are involved and helpful in regulating blood pressure and flow , removes waste material and maintains the electrolyte balance.

So this is the some body major organ system which plays a very vital role in life .
