Does anyone know where to find good studies done on theories of gender identity, all I keep finding are the actual theories themselves but never a study on the theories.

Gender identity studies are a fairly new subject of enquiry, particularly due to the myths and past studies regarding the same. To find studies on the theories of gender identity, looking around for various topics covered within the theories and its critical evaluation or parallel theories with various research could be a significant source of generating the required data for the study.

The sites to look for could include: peer-reviewed journals, online journals on gender identity/ gender dysphoria/ gender identity disorder/ biological theories of gender identity and gender, etc., Simply Psychology's website, The Psychologist, and many such sites.

Trying to find subparts of theories and then looking for the studies on them, will yield better results. There are a few sites and references that I have listed below, hope they help:
